Speak Confidently

Our Online and In-Person Programmes

We all want to be able to be a confident speaker, whether for work, study or in social settings. But for many of us, anxiety and fear get in the way, even when talking with people we know.

The good news is you don’t have to overcome this anxiety and fear to become a confident speaker. You can learn how to manage and work with it to your advantage and gain the ability to be a persuasive communicator through the Speak Confidently Programme.

Our programme is interactive, in small groups, and provides everybody with the opportunity to give talks to the group and receive supportive feedback.

Through the programme you will:

  • Learn strategies to manage anxiety about public speaking.
  • Learn how to design and structure an engaging talk
  • Learn how to use your voice and body to increase the impact of your talk.
  • Give prepared talks and receive supportive feedback on them.
  • Meet and network with a motivated group of people
  • Learn how to use visual aids effectively in both an online and face-to-face environment
  • Learn strategies for impromptu speaking and have lots of opportunities to practice
  • Have lots of fun!

Our In-Person Programme runs for six weeks at locations around Auckland. You will give three talks over the six weeks and receive significant amounts of feedback and support. Upcoming programme start dates are 14 July in Parnell and 22 July in Mount Albert. The investment is $350 plus GST.

What or clients have said

"I first met Gaye at a Speechcraft Course where she was the lead facilitator. I was immediately impressed with her ability to put you at ease with her friendly but professional and organised approach. Gaye had an amazing speaking ability demonstrating all types of speaking styles in a relaxed, entertaining and humorous way. I always felt comfortable to participate in the classes. Gaye was always extremely supportive of all participants and made me feel as relaxed as possible. I am very grateful for her support, encouragement and tuition throughout the course. "
