Two Tip Tuesday - Speak Out



Last week we talked about talking with confidence. It is a skill and skills can be learned, honed, and improved

I want your scoreboard to show Anxiety 0 – Confidence 1.


  1. If you remember your audience is on your side can really help you hold your nerve. Even when your heart is racing, your hands are shaking still focus on your message and the value of your message to the audience.  This will keep you calm and motivated.  It is the message they want to hear.  Focus on them, the audience, and not how you are feeling.
  2. Support yourself to feel confident in whatever way works for you. It could be a breathing exercise or a motivational phrase.  Take the opportunity to be calm and take control of the situation you are in and remember people want to hear what you have to say.
